Kenetrek Mountain Extreme Non-Insulate
A serious boot for rugged terrain, the new 10 inch Mountain Extreme NI is made with a one piece vamp of 2.8 mm top grain leather on top of stiff nylon midsoles with high traction K-Talon outsoles. Waterproof, breathable Windtex membrane keeps you dry and because they are non-insulated you will stay comfortable in warmer temperatures. Sure to become your favorite boot due to its awesome support, what will really surprise you is just how lightweight and comfortable they are. 3.9 lbs. Mens whole & half size's (7-12,13,14) medium widths. Made in Italy.
Features of the Kenetrek Mountain Boots
- Full Grain Leather Uppers - Kenetrek Mountain Boots have 2.8 mm thick premium full grain leather uppers utilizing a one piece vamp construction with no seams down the tongue. This increases abrasion resistance and makes the boots even more waterproof!
- Extra Padded Soft Leather Collars - The extra padding in these collars along with the flex-notch design makes the Mountain Boots more comfortable than any other mountain boots out there.
- Heavy Duty Midsoles - Full length 7 mm Nylon midsoles with steel shanks provide extra support in uneven terrain.
- Rubber Sole Guards - Reinforced Rubber Sole Guards give extra protection against rock abrasion.
- Waterproof and Breathable Flexible Membranes - WindTex membranes are waterproof and breathable with great elasticity making them very durable.
- Insulated or Non-insulated Styles - Kenetrek Mountain Boots are available with Thinsulate Insulation that provides warmth without the bulk or non-insulated styles for warmer weather.
- Lightweight Construction with the High Traction K-Talon Outsoles - It is truly amazing how incredibly light weight these boots are! Kenetrek's exclusive outsole design with its deep relief and open tread pattern provides serious multi directional bite in snow, mud, or dry ground. Traction Teeth at the toe and heel give extra grip going up and down hills while perimeter Side Lugs provide grip when side-hilling.

Awesome boots great fit for my foot. They really shine in rugged country. I did a 8 mile hike in deep snow and my feet were about the only thing that were dry so I’m assuming all the claims of not being waterproof is due to not waxing them or maybe just got a bad pair. They seem to be very well built and will last a long time if you take care of them. I do recommend the kenetrek boot wax to help make them last forever. All in all a great boot and linton outdoors wasted no time getting them to me I think it took like 3 days or something.

These are the boots I've been looking for. Very stiff sole, comfortable insole and total ankle support. These boots provide great support in steep terrain and rocky terrain.
The price isn't cheap but in my opinion, these are the best boots I've ever worn in the high country.

the boots had no break in period. they comfortable out of the box and performed excellent in Alaska. light enough, durable, waterproof.

have tried just about every boot out there... if you want a real hunting boot for any condition then go with kenetrek.
you won't find a better boot. they are true to size and easy to break in.

chad was great for customer service and I recieved the boots shortly after ordering them. At 6-5 and 350# I can destroy anything, these boots fit my size 15 great and have great toe room and ankle support. The boots went on out of the box on on a long beach hike down the oregon coast at kept me in great comfort. If they last me six months they will last you a life time. Happy Day

I am chukar and elk hunter and these boots fit the bill like no other I've used. I just recently purchase them and they were out-of-the-box comfortable. No hot spots and virtually no break-in. I also struggle with finding boots since I have a long (12) but very low volume foot. With the lacing system and tongue design these boots incorporate, they snug to your food more and more with every step. I've put about 60 miles on them without even the hint of a hot spot. Well worth the money!!!

had a pair of sportivas glaciers that were tortuous. Wore them for 3 years and put serious miles on them and they were still miserable. I bought the kenetrek mountain extremes based on a friends recomendation. Against my better judgement, I took them out of the box, put them on my feet and headed up into the hills with a 50lb pack for a 4 day trip. These things are amazing. No blister, no hotspots. Incredible comfort. I'm getting to old for sore feet. If your feet hurt, buy these. You won't regret it.

I've spent a lifetime in the mountains. I take pride in, and care of, all my equipment. These boots are, BY FAR, the best boots I've ever owned. The price is scary, but I got over that as soon as I put them on. They were broken in with a few lawn mowings. I've used them in the mountains, and they were PERFECT!They would be worth twice the price. I also can't say enough about Linton Outdoors. It's the best place to buy all of your outdoor needs.

Amazing comfort and durability

My hunting buddy had a pair of these last year, and he was schooling me on the mountain, my feet hurt and were sore every day, his weren't...I did some research and ordered a pair from Linton Outdoors, best move I ever made. The boots seemed stiff at first, but I got to admit, this is the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned!
