Have been looking to upgrade boots as I've gotten more serious about back country hunting and putting in many miles each day. Bought these Kenetreks. Tried them for the first time putting about 4 miles on them in steep terrain just trying to break them in a little. Feel amazing. Complete ankle support. Fit my feet great. Only thing I felt after was a little rub on my heels. To be expected for first time hiking in them. Can't wait to break them in real good and get some serious miles on them.

Comfortable and very warm

The comfort and fit were really good. It surprised me how comfortable they are.
The drawback is that when laced snugly, these boots squeak and it sounds like a screaming banshee when you are trying to stay quiet on game trails.
I liked the support and footbed on these boots.
All in all very nice boots.
I'll try to grease them up to prevent the leather to leather contact from squeaking. If I can do that these may become my favorites.

So far I have logged 40+ miles of training with these boots right out of the box. require very little break in compared to other boots. Most comfortable boot I've ever worn. I will say that I bought the 400 gram insulated version and they can be quite warm in the summer but with the right socks I had no blistering issues.

I outfit whitetail hunts in NW Ontario and got the boots and headed straight into the bush. Excellent fit and no break in period required. Gives the support needed in the rocky terrain and excellent for the wet bottoms. Highly recommend! Linton team is top notch and great to work with.

I have had these boot for over a year. I got them the second day of elk season last year, yep in camp delivery, which costs extra. I wore them that afternoon, and they felt like they were already broken in. The following week I hunted 7 days in conditions ranging from steep rocky hillsides to heavy deadfall to swamps. Weather that week ranfged from mid 80's early in the week to (literally) 24 inches of fresh powder snow. These boots NEVER let me down. They are hands down the best boots I have ever worn.
