The uninsulated Stormfront Pant breathes well in mild temperatures, but it’s fit to accommodate layers from the Kelvin Series underneath, so it can be used well into the coldest, most brutal months of far northern winters. All zippers are welded and watertight. Full side zips make for easy on and off when changing underlayers. Two zippered hip pockets, quiet snap cargo pockets, and zippered cargo pockets cache your necessities and keep them dry. Dual zipper fly, built-in, low-profile nylon belt, and included suspenders keep the pant comfortably aloft. Adjustable cuffs allow you to cinch the pant over your boots and shingle water away from your feet.

Great rainpants, great pocket design, features and cut. Seems like a perfect mix of toughness and light weight. Not sure whether I like the suspenders or not. A little bit loud, but not bad. I archery hunt and believe the noise will be manageable. I returned the dewpoint jacket and pants because the material is very thin and is also very loud. In my opinion, the dewpoint line is limited by lack of toughness and functionally might not be much better than carrying a plastic poncho. I could not envision archery hunting (noise) in the dewpoint jacket and pants. I also have the Sitka-Cloudburst and Kuiu-Chugach and Yukon, cabela's guide gear, military gore-tex and so have lot's of experience to draw from. Brushed cloth raingear is quieter but holds water and will eventually leak. I've probably gone through 5 or more brushed cloth sets of raingear that I paid $200 - $400 for. Each bad set of raingear ends with a very sad hunting story. Best to buy a quality shell to begin with (Sitka Stormfront).
