The new Sitka Grinder Pant is built for chasing waterfowl in the early season. The Grinder pant provides enough warmth for early morning missions and enough breath-ability to keep you comfortable all day. With low profile seams and glued hems, it also acts as an insulation piece for layering under waders as temps drop and water levels rise.

This pant is made with typical Sitka detail. The fit and finish is excellent. Pockets and zippers are well thought out and very functional. The pants are roomy enough for layering everything from merino base layers to heavy Sitka Kelvin pants. Expensive yes, but I don't mind paying for quality items for my passion which is waterfowl hunting. I am about to give a serious test with an 8 day Saskatchewan duck hunting trip. I am confident that they will work as advertised like my other Sitka gear.

The pants are light weight and easy to wear, the fit is good and the pants are well made. I wear my cold gear under them and they keep me warm and dry. I am wearing them now during the spring goose hunt in southern Oregon. They are a great addition to my hunting clothing.

I recently bought these grinder pants despite the fact that it is over twice as much as i would normally spend but figured if they last then it is worth it. I would tell anyone who is on fence about these to bite the bullet. They are the best fitting, well thought out pants for hunting i could imagine. The one small downside is the rear pocket sits high so if you put your wallet in then it is more unnatural while sitting but easy fix, do not carry you wallet. Buy with confidence and enjoy the wildlife.

I was a little skeptical because of the high price (for me anyways) but they are great. The pants flex and move with you so you are not the least bit restricted. I bought them for an all purpose pair of pants. I wore them bow hunting yesterday and they must have helped because I arrowed two does within 20 minutes of each other. It had to be the pants:). But spend a little more and buy a high quality pair of pants and you will not regret it.

These are by far my favorite all around pair of pants. I bought them primarily for early season hunting but the Grinder Pant gave me enough warmth not only for early season but in early morning missions during late season underneath my waders. They are so comfortable to wear throughout the season. I wore them and have washed them and they still look brand new after 60 hunts. I love the low-profile seams, I am a hunt tech for Gore-Tex and these have become my go to pair of pants for whitetail and waterfowl season.
