    I first thought Sitka was a over priced trendy new product, but I was wrong. I am a hard core bow hunter and expect the best from my gear. Sitka is the best on the market. The gloves are the warmest and fit is the best. I do not mind paying top price for top performance.I now am phasing Sitka into my entire hunting clothing.

    I’ve worn them once on at 30-degree morning tree stand hunt and they were warm and comfortable with good dexterity for an insulated glove. I have not yet worn them in the rain. The cuff with Velcro closure can be loud when removing the glove. I’ve struggled to find a high quality pair of waterproof light to medium weight hunting gloves. I don’t like bulky gloves even in cold weather due to loss of dexterity. The Sitka Downpour GTX appears to be perfect if that is your goal. This appears to be a very high quality glove commensurate with the high price.
