Sitka Dakota Hoody

Built with a 100% windproof WINDSTOPPER® membrane and a soft Berber fleece backer, the Dakota Hoody functions both as an outer layer and a cozy insulator to be stacked under a shell. A built-in zippered hand muff keeps your digits warm, while the fitted hood delivers warmth without compromising the peripheral vision or range of motion needed to keep tabs on a swirling flock.

The warm, windproof Dakota Hoody may just force your cotton sweatshirt into permanent retirement. Built with GORE® WINDSTOPPER® membrane, the piece works as a durable, stretch-woven outer layer on milder days. And when temperatures plummet, the lofted Berber fleece interior makes it an ideal insulating mid-layer.

The ¾-zip construction allows for an integrated Berber-lined hand muff to keep your digits toasty and dexterous. A zippered chest pocket keeps your necessities in place, while the adjustable hood traps heat without interfering with your peripheral vision. The Dakota Hoody is a finely honed tool you’ll use every day of the season.

    The latest edition to my Sitka gear is the Dakota Hoody. Typical Sitka, it is top quality. I got it thinking it would be a great early season piece. It was, and mid season, and late season, and after season...ice fishing. It is plenty warm. The wind stopper does just that. I really appreciate the placement and functionality of the hand warmer pocket. As with most Sitka items, high quality zippers and well sewn seams hold it together. I am looking forward to many years of tough use...
