This lightweight, heavy duty constructed, fluid head is a great head for easy optics use in the field. Features a built in bubble level. The simple, single wheel tension adjusts both tilt and horizontal pan. Note: vertical tilt and horizontal pan do not adjust independently. Quick Release plate is included.

    I was pleasantly surprised by this head! Most of my previous experience was with ball or pistol grip heads and I was worried a pan head would have more knobs/adjustments than I wanted to mess with. Not the case with the shonfeld. The one knob adjustment is convenient and works great so far. I like that with a small turn I can move my binos/spotter around for glassing but it still holds tight enough that i can let go without losing my field of view!

    Great tripod head, especially for the price, in my opinion.
