The first pair I tried were a little big, I sent them back and linton outdoors sent me a size smaller. These boots fit perfect. Put them on out of the box and went shed hunting, put on several miles, feet still felt great. I am amazed there seems to be no break in period. Only reason I gave 4 stars is I would like them one or two inches higher.

I was very concerned with my boots at first glance when received them 5 months ago. Never heard of these boots outside the hunting world but read the reviews and gave them a try. Lintons got them to me right away and the first thing I noticed was the soles. Not vibram, this worried me but I tried them anyway. Put 9 miles on them the first trip out. Horrible blisters on my right heel but patched my feet up afterwards and gave them another 4 miles before archery season which was all my feet needed to break in. All I can say is awesome boot; grip wise, comfort wise, breathability and waterproof. Also great during upland season. Highly recommend them after putting 50 miles+ on them and will be trusting these boots to take me to the tough western country I hunt.

I’m a rather large guy with small feet that regularly hunts the steep mountains of Idaho. This is a combination that generally destroys a pair of high-dollar boots every year or two. On a lark one day, I tried on a pair of Kenetrek Hardscrabble’s and was amazed out how well they fit. I subsequently purchased a pair from Chad and consider them one of the best hunting investments I’ve ever made. After TWO years of very hard use, they look like new and still feel great. You might pay more for a pair of boots, but you can’t buy any better boots than these. The only thing better than the boots is the customer service of Linton Outdoors. Buy with confidence…you’ll be glad you did.
