Let's face it....You put a lot of stress on your hunting gear. As you should! Certain areas of your pack are bound to
take more abuse than others. Through a scientific process we call "beating the living hell out of it" we found these "high stress areas" and added reinforcements. Hypalon is one of the highest strength, yet flexible materials known to man and we had to have it. We bought up the world's supply and use it on all high stress areas on all Badlands packs. Why go the extra mile you may ask? Because at Badlands the giving never stops.

Aramid fibers are fibers in which the chain molecules are highly oriented along the fiber axis so the strength of
the chemical bond can be exploited. What does that mean? Well….we're not sure exactly but we do know that one strand of this thread can lift 110 lbs so we don't really care! Yes, all of the yellow bar-tacks you see on our packs are aramid thread and no, yellow isn't our favorite color. These fibers are so strong and dense that they can't even be dyed another color. At least it's not pink....

Zippers are everywhere and most of the time they are the best closure system you can have. "Most" of the time didn't quite satisfy us however. There were times in the field when we needed something faster, quieter and one-hand friendly. Over 8 years of research and development led to the creation of Badlands Zip-No™ Technology. Using rare-earth magnets (the strongest on the planet), we developed a process in which we could bend them into rope like strands. The result is a zipperless system that can be opened and closed silently with one hand and quicker than any zipper could ever be. When stealth and timing is everything, Zip-No can be the difference between coming out heavy or with just a heavy heart.

Badlands KXO-32 fabric is the strongest, quietest, most waterproof material in the hunting world. How do we know? Because we tried 31 different combos before we finally got it right! Soft, supple, quiet….everything you've always wanted in a hunting pack...and a mate but, that's a debate for another time.

Warranty Information

Badlands does not care what happened, or whose fault it was, they will fix it for free forever. Badlands could care less if you bought it at a garage sale or a gear swap, as long as it says Badlands, it's covered. However, your Badlands pack must be repairable, if you throw it in a fire,-with the expectations that sort of craftiness will yield you a brand new pack - that is incorrect. In all honesty, Badlands have seen it all and they understand accidents happen and if it is legit Badlands will always do their best to find you a replacement pack from their demo fleet.

  1. Perfect addition to my gear! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th May 2019

After doing a ton of research online and getting all sorts of different opinions, I ended up going to Linton Outdoors to get some advice. Being local to me and having extensive backcountry hunting knowledge, they provided valuable information on the bino harness options. With their advice I went with the Badlands. It fits very comfortably, has multiple compartments and seals best compared to others. I will be back to Linton for more backcountry gear as their customer service was top notch and they are down to earth people who love to hunt!

  2. nice case 4 Star Review

really like the case itself. the bow hook is a dandy addition. the harness would be fine if it weren't for the roll out hydration reservoir pouch. when not in use, it creates an annoying lump in the harness that is very noticeable, especially if you are wearing it under a pack. a conversion strap kit to modify the case for direct attachment to a backpack would be a nifty offering.

  3. Protect your binos 5 Star Review

This case is great for protecting your binos. My Leica Geovids HD-B just barely fit but they do fit. Quality is outstanding.

  4. Great Product 5 Star Review

I have both the Bino and the Bino X. I like them both for different reasons. For a day scouting the Bino case is great. I prefer the Bino X for my hunting trips because it is a bit larger and will hold my GPS and my range finder. You cannot go wrong with the Badlands Bino cases. I bought one from Eberlestock and while I love their packs, I returned it. Too hard to open and close.
